Hi Everyone!
I know we are all busy students who never have time (or money!) to go grocery shopping but get a hold of this pasta. It has THREE INGRDIENTS and it is utterly delicous.
Okay I lied it takes a bit more than three ingredients, but only 3 you have to buy :). Fresh tomatoes, fresh basil, and linguine (or literally any type of pasta you have). How hard is that? And I know, I know, fresh basil is expensive and it sadly goes bad easily, so you can subistute for that basil you buy in a tube (but it wont taste as good!!!!) and use it for other recipies too.

How YUMMY does this look??
Check out the easy recipe:
3 Ingredient Tomato Basil Pasta
Author: Lindsay Craven
Serves: 2
Time: 30 Minutes
Cost: $
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of raw diced tomatoes (any type, but I prefer roma because of all juice they have)
1 handful of ripped basil or 2 tablespoons of tubed basil
250 grams of pasta (I like inguine but this really can be any pasta you have on hand)
5 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Make sure there is enough water to cover the pasta fully. Add pasta to boiling water, cook according to pacakge directions. When the pasta is done cooking, add it to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients
2. Sauce: Meanwhile, dice the tomatoes and put them in a medium sized bowl. Add basil and olive oil to the bowl with the tomatoes. Toss with cooked pasta, and add salt and peper to taste
*you can add other things like garlic, chrushed red pepers, parmasan cheese etc.
**to make this gluten free, use gluten free pasta
